The shirt will be to raise funds for good causes and should be out in the next few weeks. The design is still top secret but we can tell you that the artwork will be from one of our favourite artist chaps, Tom J Newell. Big!!

It's fair to say that we've been a fan of Nick Sheehy, aka Showchicken for a long time now. He's one of those artists who breaks the mould and provides something magical to his work. His style is undefinable, his characters are insane and his approach to art is inspirational. We strongly recommend you check out his web site to see further example's of his work. He is one of our favourites here at dirtyface and we feel privileged to have Nick as a featured artist.

Originally from Tasmania where he studied sculpture, Nick Sheehy re-discovered his love of drawing while living in London after travelling halfway round the globe, sparked by an interest in the city’s low brow art, illustration, street art and graffiti.

Since then he has had work featured in various publications and exhibitions, illustrated for several big name clients and spent a year as a character designer for a children's animated series.

Recognised for his imagination and attention to detail, in his current work Sheehy explores the fictional characters that often kept him company during his childhood. He currently lives in Leigh on Sea, Essex, where he continues to make work for publications, exhibitions and private clients.

So the new video page is up and we've recently had the opportunity to populate it with some work from our man over at VNA Magazine, Pete Modrzejewski aka Make Some Tea. We've previously collaborated with VNA and have often admired the video content they produce. The brainchild of this work is Pete and he's very kindly offered us access to his vault of videos created for VNA. We'd like to thank Pete and George at VNA for allowing us to feature some of their amazing work. Enjoy...

Oh and while we're on VNA 18 is out now. It's well worth a read and we highly recommend you buy it!!

It's all about telling stories but no fairy tale is complete if it doesn't scare you just a little bit. There are no usual troops of ogres, trolls and wicked witches in the work of Frau Isa, but the Neverland has that velvet touch of evil nonetheless. Ghosts of birds and creepy bird men as companions of naive doll-like ladies are bitter-sweet reminders of how precious and fleeting youth and existence really is. The colour choice is mostly subdued; she likes grey and loves beige - combined with other pale tones. She works with all kind of surfaces and sizes, from murals to jewellery."
