Richt of the “what collective” is a Bristol based Artist/Illustrator. Drawing is habitual for Richt who is a member of the What crew along with 45RPM, Sainty and Sums. His ideas usually come from lucky mistakes in his sketchbooks, which he then expands on. Aspects of these sketches sometimes appear on walls or canvas, but in an unplanned way. Although Richt's work initially focused on his characters, slowly they have become abstracted into organic forms and patterns.
